چکیده
We consider two-component fermions with a zero-range interaction both in two and three dimensions calculate the bulk viscosity for an arbitrary scattering length high-temperature regime. evaluate Kubo formula using expansion respect to fugacity, which acts as small parameter at high temperatures. In zero-frequency limit of formula, pinch singularities emerge that reduce order fugacity by one. These can turn higher-order vertex corrections nonzero frequencies into leading zero frequency, so all such contributions have be resummed. present exact microscopic computation regime taking account these singularities. For negative lengths, we derive complete second show self-consistent equation resum is identical linearized kinetic equation. positive new type singularity arises bound pairs. pairs leads first-order contribution viscosity, one lower than also provide contributions. propose derives from corrections.

The virial expansion of a classical interacting system
We consider N particles interacting pair-wise by an inverse square potential in one dimension (Calogero-Sutherland-Moser model). When trapped harmonically, its classical canonical partition function for the repulsive regime is known in the literature. We start by presenting a concise re-derivation of this result. The equation of state is then calculated both for the trapped and the homogeneous ...

We solve second order relativistic hydrodynamics equations for a boost-invariant 1+1dimensional expanding fluid with an equation of state taken from lattice calculations of the thermodynamics of strongly coupled quark-gluon plasma. We investigate the dependence of the energy density as a function of proper time on the values of the shear viscosity η, the bulk viscosity ζ , and second order coef...

متن کاملAccelerating cosmological expansion from shear and bulk viscosity.
The dissipation of energy from local velocity perturbations in the cosmological fluid affects the time evolution of spatially averaged fluid dynamic fields and the cosmological solution of Einstein's field equations. We show how this backreaction effect depends on shear and bulk viscosity and other material properties of the dark sector, as well as the spectrum of perturbations. If sufficiently...
متن کاملInteracting fermions :
Most materials are either metals or insulators. When they are metals, their electronic properties are usually described by Landau's Fermi liquid theory. That is, they behave more or less like a free Fermi gas, with a few modifications due to electron-electron interactions. However, there exist a few metallic materials whose phenomenology does not fit within Fermi liquid theory. These are quasi-...
